Apple With Smart Banking

I've been speaking to a few people and as of this blog, i know 2 people who's got the iPhone 5S, A Phone with a fingerprint scanner. This isn't the first attempt at a finger print scanner on a device, A motorola Atrix had the first Finger print scanner on an android device and most recently with all the buzz the iPhone 5S had, HTC joined the bandwagon as well by introducing a finger print scanner on their HTC One Maxx.

With all the android phones coming out today with NFC enabled. The purpose for NFC is for Smart banking and quick payments with services like google wallet and smart payments. The problem with this is that somebody could easily steal your phone and place your phone or contactless payment stations and spend your money without any Pin number or security issues.

Here's why i'm writing all of this, Apple could have introduced their own Card based service where you could place your phone down on a contactless payment station and at the same time hold down their finger against the fingerprint sensor to authorise.

i haven't had any hands on with Google wallet or services such as that but Apple have missed out on a perfect opprunity on intergrating this feature into iOS. Maybe they'll do it with the iPhone 6

Google Jobs

At the moment, i am trying my hardest of trying to find a job using many external sites such as Directgov, Jobsite, Monster, Indeed and that's just to name a few. Since i've been using Google services for over 5 years and i'm sure most of my generation at the moment is using google services as well such as Youtube, Gmail, Play store and many other google services.

Google is already easily the most used search engine in the world and Google Chrome is the most popular browser in the world considering that it's only been out for over 2 years. Youtube another Google Product is the most used Video streaming service in the world. 2 million of hours of video are uploaded to Youtube every minute so by the end i've finished writing this blog, there's probably going to be 20 million hours worth of content been uploaded to Youtube.

Google should start up it's own Job search service, or ask external sites such as jobsite to have a Google account login so you've got one email and one password for everything. I've got mulitple passwords and it's takes a couple of trys to remember which website has this password and which website has the other password.

Google should do something in this since everybody around the world is looking for jobs, maybe it's manual labour or retail jobs and 3D animation. They'd get loads more people coming to their website everyday and instead of using their search engine to get to that external site. they'd use their website to look for jobs.

Hopefully Google sees this and implements these features.

Thanks for reading and try and share this so google is more likely to see it and implement it into their services

The future vs the past of technology

After many years of the iPhone and smart phones becoming more and more powerful in speed and use-ability. A lot of people have speculated that this new form of technology is devices such as the galaxy gear or google glass. At the moment I honestly think that Google glass is the next big leap forward but the problem is at the moment, how much is it going to cost when it comes out. If Google glass is released with a price tag with more than 500 dollars, its not going to receive a very good reputation. If its released with a price tag of 300 then they've hit the sweet spot.

I was only just a little toddler went ages around I don't know the hype around them. But when I talk to someone about the pager they said that the weather in chennai the way we got messages and notifications slowly it faded out of existence and popularity. Now with the pager you have to have a separate number for your pager so that it could receive messages but with the galaxy gear and google glass they connect via nfc on bluetooth so whatever you receive through your google glass or galaxy gear your phone has been able to send the information to the corresponding devices.

A smart watch that has got a credit these days is the pebble smartwatch which came on sale  exclusivly through at&t stores for a small price tag of 150 dollars which is pretty reasonable whereas the galaxy gear is 429 dollars. The e-ink display on the pebble makes it easy to easy to read in direct sunlight and it's got a little led light button so you can view your messages and call logs at night.

Not a enough people have are hyped for smart watches or Google glass because there's no need for them yet or the functionality just isn't there yet.

Watching a TV series late

This happens with a lot of tv shows today. I don't know how to write this but I'll put it in my own words I was out late, to breaking bad and as I was watching it during the third season I really thought that walter white would be shot are killed in some way but knowing that the one the fifth season I was thinking how could they possibly kill the main protagonist of when does two more seasons left. When you watch tv series week in week out you don't know what's gonna happen you don't know if it's gonna end on season 3 or its gonna keep on rolling. Typically when a tv series first comes on the television you don't know how many seasons it's going to get and you don't know if it's gonna get cancelled in its first season.
I had a bad time at one point and I wanted to start watching a tv series to get over it and the tv series with house I downloaded them all and after 7 seasons and a couple of episodes into season 8 I couldn't be bothered watching it anymore. A character was introduced during season 7 and she was a cute girl who was just looking to get houses approval and jerry in season 8 she was completely written off don't know what happened to her she just went. And that's when I realise that it was just the same thing over and over again I watched house every night possibly 1 or 2 episodes. It took me 3 months to burn through all of those seasons and I can't be bothered watching the final episodes.
During season 6 of house house when into and mental institute and that really changed the format considering that house wasn't here in patients he was trying to be cured but sadly that was only 1 episode long and he got reelected to is all job caring for patients and I was really disappointed when it went back to its old format.
When I was watching breaking bad I stayed up till about 4 o'clock in the morning watching episodes of breaking bad because it was that good I couldn't stop watching it and that's why it's 1 of the best television shows to ever be aired on television.
My point being from this blog I don't really like knowing how many seasons a tv series have because sometimes you just don't want to know if a character lives or dies based on how many seasons is there are. But that's really the disappointment of coming into a tv series near the end.

Everything has been invented

The other day I was eating ice cream and I was thinking to myself that we claim as a human race that we have invented everything that is to be invented the human race said this 100 years ago. And just look at the technology now we got more cpu power that is 32 times the technology that nothing used to get the first man on the moon and we are holding this technology in our hands in your pockets, on out desks. The reason why the human race said we have invented everything 100 years ago is because they revolutionize in air, land and sea transport. The wright brothers invented the plane bringing countries closer together and easier to go to there. Thomas andrews created the titanic revolutionizing the way we think of c transport having a luxurious mansion on the sea that's also the biggest of its kind and the fastest of its kind. And then the same thing goes with ford they invented the car and a infected the combustion engine in order to our customers move away like they do now.
As I said I was eating ice cream the other day and it just made me wonder of how many inventions and actually invented yet. I'm always thinking of crazy ideas and crazy inventions that I would like to invent some day. About 5 years ago I wrote down a concept for google glass and it would be a heads up display within your glasses are a wearable computer.
I have also built a concept for my own operating system I know it won't rival the operating systems such as android ios and even blackberry with it 0.5 percent market share in smartphones. All I need is a programmer and I will be able to design and release this operating system to the masses are put it as a rom from android.

Getting on the technology side again there is a few twerk song that I like with n I a west 7 and this something that I do not like. Multitasking on ios 7 is great double click the home button and it will immediately go to your last poke app that you at hopton because when your multitasking the most likely think that you're going to do is go back to your previous app. Within control centre it would be good if apple created the multitasking bar within control centre slide up from the bottom and you get your music controls your brightness controls, wifi toggles bluetooth etc. At the bottom you have a quick abs such as flashlight clock calculator and camera. I would have really liked if they implemented the multitasking bar into the control centre to save on home button clicks.

Changes to iOS7, i would have made.

I've recently updated to iOS 7 on my iPhone 4. Although this isn't a full review, after all, i'm only using the iPhone 4 as an iPod. I'm currently using a galaxy nexus with a paranoid android running and it's awesome, finally i get rid of those navigational buttons without the risk of depleting battery life.

The main problem i have with the iPhone and the multitasking is that you have to click the home button twice and over time the home button becomes less and less responsive. on Two previous iPhones, i was doing a lot of multitasking, going back and forth between apps and then that would cause a rapid increase of the home button becoming faulty.

I came up with a concept yesterday and somebody has already created the tweak to one of the beta's to iOS 7. WIth the control center, you've got all your music settings, brightness and quicktoggles such as Wifi, Airplane mode etc and then at the bottom you've got quick apps such as flashlight, calculator, camera. I would have loved this bottom even more if i could customize it and they had a specific set of different toggles so you could quickly enable the notes app  or contacts etc.

My concept is replacing this Bottom in the control centre to the multitasking bar like seen on iOS 4 and a above. Just slide up from the bottom and you'd be able to see what apps are running. Of course you wouldn't be able to see a screenshot of the app down below, it would just be the icon.

Hopefully this catches an eye from the tweak developers out there and they create this tweak.

Android is good but iOS is way better

I've just recently bought an iPhone off my dad for 50 pounds. I've been wanting an iPod for ages like 6 months and never had the money but then my dad got a new phone so I jumped at the opportunity to buy it off him.

Best decision I made, iOS is miles better than android. Android is a great operating system and there's loads of customisation. Like I said I've been using iOS and once I get this iPhone jailbreakon and unlocked, I'm goin to use this as my daily driver.
This is a weird thing to say but when you enter applications on iOS it feels like your still in the operating system because its a unified experience all around. From app to app it's the same experience and roughly the same gesture based system. In android there's so many different variables of styles that can be taken.

I love them both, even though I slated that iOS is boring but once you've been on customisation of android and you've gone back to iOS, you don't want to change anything because everything is fantastic.

YouTube App for the playstation 3

Since I've discovered the youtube application on the ps3, I've been watching a lot more documentaries gaming videos and basically any of a video that I can think of. Everything that are use to watch on my ps3 with either downloaded or streamed. I use to have this little thing call play tv it would let me watch pars and record live tv right onto my ps3 hardrive. 4 months I knew that the weather youtube application for the ps3 it was in america only so me being in the uk I sell a little bit bummed out.

It's great I can parrot up with my iphone to my android device on my tablet and unable to run youtube videos on my phone and then direkt the youtube application to that video and it starts please. It's just like the chrome car but you can't stream play movies on netflix so it got its limitations. I was actually going to buy a conker but once I discovered the youtube application for the ps3 I don't see the point anymore.

When I'm watching videos at night I normally have a sleep timer on and if you don't touch any of the controls within an hour it will shut itself off so I don't have to worry about leaving the ps3 on all night. Plus my tv has a sleep timer too if it retries no signal to 5 minutes that shuts itself off as well.
So I've got it all worked out I can watch adventure time and not worry about falling asleep television on. If I wanted to watch any documentaries I would have to manually search them in and download them on and stream it from my computer of them on a portable hard drive and and coffee over to the ps3 now I can just type in the documentry that I want on youtube and it's that simple.

Mainly I've been watching documentaries on how the earth was created because of the sun layers of the song planet from hell and how the moon affects, which is what I came hear talk about. But I think I will just save it for another blog.

I think google have really hit the nail on the head dave come up with a little device it's very cheap and you're able to play getting into any hdmi tv. It cuts the need out of any smart tv period. Get yourself a netflix account which cost about 6 pounds a month and you're set for life you're able to stream every movie that's available on netflix and also the tv show music etc.

With the chrome cast it's not actually streaming any content if you use your phone from youtube or play movies. So you can start a youtube video connected up to the chrome cast on and turn the wifi off on your phone and it will still be playing on the chrome cast.

Transition from ios device to android

My friend has recently been to the leeds festival and he's destroyed iphone while he was debating to get another I'll bite of an android phone he decided to go for the galaxy s 4. He's had the phone for almost a week now and he's  only just getting to grips with the os. It is monumental how many differences theyre are between iOS and android. It's very confusing call the new users. Especially when there is so many skins for android is htc sense, touchwiz, motoblur and many more.

The only reason why android is very popular today is the same reason why microsoft is popular today apple don't shit the operating system 2 of the uses they give the operating system to the people who have bought their systems. We're as microsoft you can build any machine you want with anything p u and gpu and run and you can put windows on it no problem. And the same goes for android. Before android companies and manufacturers how to build your own operating system for ever seen on dr and open companies are you and change it to the all look and feel and place it on to the devices.

With the recent galaxy s 4, it's got loads of pointless stuff that is just a waste of time. Air gestures and smart scrolling when you reach the bottom of the page with your eyes, it starts automatically scrolling down the rest of the article and you can wave your hand over the device to scroll.
If you close your eyes, it pauses the video for you and when you open your eyes back up, it will start playing the video again.

The only good feature I think to come out of Samsung is the multi-window where you can two applications running at the same time and this is missing from all tablets. I know the surface but it needs to be on all tablets. Scroll from twitter and still be watching that video on YouTube.

The transition from iOS to android needs to be more user friendly and then slowly introducing you to the features and all of these settings just be explained. Lots of people who have the device don't know about these features and when ive told them, they are stunned that they've had the phone for 6 months and I know more about it that they do.

Why GTA 5 is going to be epic

Not going to explain why grand theft auto 5 is the most anticipated game of this generation and any generation so far.

The reason why grand theft auto 5 will blow everything out of the water is because with gta 4 they have to build a new engine I knew ragdoll physics engine all the new car customisation and car wrecking effects that made grand theft auto 4 1 of the most visual appealing games off the ps3 and the xbox 360 generation. Grand theft auto 5 bills itself on top of that it uses everything that was great with gta 4 and combines the mall and adds tons of new features with the jump from gta san andreas 2 gta 4 they have to do a lot of leg work in order for the visual stoning environment that is gta 4. That's why in gta 4 the wasn't a lot of customisation features within the characters and the vehicles and that's why a lot of vehicles were introduced because planes and jets etc we're not introduced into the gta 4 game it would have meant that rockstar north would have put another few months or even a few weeks on top of the work schedule for gta 4 in order to create the physics engine that went along with the planes.

Everything that you know and love about gta 4 will be coming back in gta 5 and it will be much more grande a much more funnier and much more epic.

I really can't wait for this game, in pre orders it's already sold out call of duty black ops 2. Currently call of duty black ops 2 is the most largest and most profitable game of any entertainment business ever and thats just how a pic and the reputation the the grand theft auto series has.

Windows phone rant

We are all aware that windows phone isn't doing very well and it's only got 4 percent market between the ios, android and blackberry. IOS just having over 35% share, android with 55% share, blackberry just having over 1% and the rest is taken up by phones like unbuntu, webos, bada and sybiam and many more.

The Samsung Ativ S neo.
The new latest and greatest windows phone has just been released and it's coming with 2 year old specs it's got a 1.2 dual core processor 1 gig of ram and it comes with in the 8 16 and 32 gigabyte models. Windows phone has never been the leading competitor when it comes to specs they've all been about the operating system.

This is were the rant is starting.
F your going to make a windows phone why oh why has samsung put a lcd screen into the new samsung ativ s neo. With an operating system that's mainly black throughout the entire experience you would have fort that samsung was of port a I p s display or amoled display.
Golf of the screen bridge use true blacks and that means it doesn't show up the pixels but it's not using f your only displaying ass white screen it will display every colour but if your own make displaying are black screen it will not pump any energy to the screen.

That's 1 of the main things why loads of people have been putting much more work in 2 screen technology in order to squeeze every little cell from the ba dave already release the phone book they have to change that in the futures they've  already release the phone but they have to change that in the future.

Thanks for reading.
Most of my blogs are created using the google dictation feature on my galaxy nexus nothing has been typed in manually other than corrections and that's really shows how fast technology has come.

Google implement this feature

Hey I've promised to do more blogs and here is another implementation google should implement into the android sdk.

On the youtube application when you view a video fullscreen it hides the navigational the on nexus devices in order for you to receive a 16 by 9 ratio.

Why can't google implement this feature for developers so you can use my screen real estate instead of having the navigational back of the system the taking up space on the screen when it could be used to better your gaming experience.

Theyve implemented this feature with the gmail applications. They also have applications in the google play store for you to take away the navigational the ups cold full screen and g m d soft key hider but they all require root and they drain your battery tremendously.

Just another thing to add I updated to android 4.3 and I'm receiving terrible battery drain I use a free 1000 800 million hour battery and that drains within half the time that I use to get on android 4.2.1.
My uncle who's using the same phone is not experiencing the same battery drain as I am I'm not sure if I'm using the phone more bot I I unplugged my phone 8 hours ago and it's on 30 percent now.

The Last of Us Review

What else can i say about the last of us. It's fucking amazing.
It's not one of the best games of this generation. i think its one of the best games period!
The narrative of the story is so complex and this is the first game, i've actually sat through all the cutscenes, everyone of them interesting. Naughty dog gives you the ability to skip them and 100% of people don't skip them.

Right from the start, it pulls you into the world and immediality you fall in love with the Daughter and the father within 2 minutes.

The graphics are amazing, some of the best i've seen from any game ever. When joel or any other character emerge from the water, they appear shiny. Naughty Dog have had the technology since uncharted 2. They've tested and improved every interation of the uncharted series and they've not failed with The last of us.

The only minor flaw in a flawless game is the AI (artiifical intelligence). it's as if the characters can't think for themselves unless they are being scripted to do something. the AI follows you round everywhere and sometimes i've been behind cover waiting for a clicker or the infected to not see me and Ellie comes along and comes behind the same cover and moved me in site of the infected.

There are a couple of bugs here and there but nothing game breaking, character models seem like they haven't been UV mapped properly.

For areas that are meant to be viewed in the distance have everything rendered properly with pristine condition but for areas that are small have objects that only appear when you get up close to them.
All the textures have been done correctly, no doubt about it, The normal maps are certainly what gives this game the pop and shine that it deserves. it's the best normal mapping i've seen in any game.

As soon as you start up the game and you're past the loading screen, the first scene you see is a window with a transparent curtain and it's blowing in the wind. (not sure if that's got somethnig to do with the story) the Fabric's are there with fluent motion and all of the models, character models, the textures and the render distance even the footprints in the sand and the snow really make this game stand out. It's a must Buy if you own a PS3. if you don't own a PS3, you won't be disappointed

One other minor flaw and it's not that bad considering that if you're in an infected world, you're going to have a destination to go to but that's all you seem to do. sometimes when you come out in the open, it's always reminded to you where you are in relation to your destination.

Ammo and everything else is scarce. i'm always finding myself going through houses getting everything that i can get and it really gives you a sense of purpose to find stuff that you need instead of everything given to you in a silver platter. the enemies can shoot all day long but when you kill them and go over to their bodies to loot their ammo, they have maybe 1 or 2 bullets or even none at all.

How to hide navigation bar

I've just recently rooted my galaxy nexus and I've downloaded a few applications to try and hide or even replace the navigational/system/soft bar that's found at the bottom of android OS. You can find this system bar on other skins of android devices.

The system bar was a real pain in the arse for me. I would lose screen real estate for the sake of having home, back and recent buttons at the bottom when it can easily be replace or hidden by an app from the Google play store. For most of the applications and tweaks found on the Google play store require root. Some of them don't require root if you're running ice cream sandwich or below. I'm not sure why this is, jellybean must be much more secure with the APIs with system controls.

GMD hide soft keys is all right but it doesn't seem to work very well and when it crashes, it leaves me with no system bar so I have to reboot.

Hide bottom bar is a paid app from the play store so I haven't had the luxury of getting that yet and test it but I've another app that seems to go the job just find.

Its called full screen, it hides the system bar with ease and it gives you hot corners and you're able to customize to the way you like it. You're given a bottom right button which is set to home button by default and the bottom left set to back by default. You've got different actions as well, hold the home button and it restores the original system bar and hold the bar button and it shows recent apps. You can also swipe to show a pie menu with a number of quick actions so you can get into your favourite application even quicker.
I've been talking with the developer, he's very nice and he recently updated the app to add the swipe to fill function in recent apps menu.

I originally wanted the pie controls that are found on the paranoid android ROM. You can swipe from the left, right and the bottom to access the home, back, and loads of other buttons.

I got the pie controls I wanted from lmt launcher that I found from an article on xda developers but it came with huge battery consumption so I stuck with full screen.

I will be hopefully doing more blogs and talking about technology.

Samsung Galaxy S4 - OCTO CORE POWER HOUSE

In the Android landscape, Samsung is an unrivaled titan, sitting atop the highest possible perch of smartphone glory and supremacy. Over the past few years, the company has gone from tepid challenger to olympic gold medalist. The Samsung Galaxy S sparked a revolution back in March 2010, and four iterations later, the Korean company is releasing its biggest Galaxy product ever—probably its biggest gadget across every product lineup it offers—the Galaxy S 4. Finally, at last, it’s here.
Samsung describes its new super phone as one that will get you close to what matters in life, designed in a way to heighten the user experience. It’s not a thing you only hold and look at and occasionally make calls on; the S 4 is, according to Samsung, something that understands the value in relationships… believes in the importance of an effortless user experience… empowers your life, helping take care of your well-being.
The overarching theme, you see, isn’t a focus on specs—they are decidedly next-gen, as expected—but how software and technology can improve your experience in a positive way. So there are features like Dual Camera, Dual Video Call, Story Album; Group Play, Share Music, S Translator, Smart Pause, Air View, Air Gesture, Smart Scroll, S Voice Drive, Optical Reader, WatchON; S Health, Adapt Display and Adapt Sound. That’s an enormously overwhelming laundry list of new features, all designed to make everyday use seem more natural and painless.
It’s a mature approach to the world of Full HD, when everything is like everything else—except maybe the HTC One, which will stand as huge competition for the S 4, especially on the design front. Samsung has done its homework adding in the specs people want, while improving in the areas people hadn’t even thought of. Or, at least, didn’t think were possible. Channel your inner Jedi by controlling the screen where you look, and even scroll in the browser and email without laying a greasy finger on the display.
Want to preview content in an email? Air View allows users to do so by simply hovering over the screen with their fingers. Now all your ten (or less) digits can act as S Pens. There’s also Air Gesture, which lets users change the music track, scroll up and down on a Web page and accept a call by waving your hand. This is definitely the droid you’re looking for, it seems.
Telecom companies are already praising the unreleased handset. “Impressive.” “Great.” It certainly sounds amazing: Android 4.2.2, 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display (441 ppi, same as the DNA), 13-megapixel camera (2-megapixel front), 1.9GHz quad-core processor (U.S. version), 1.6GHz octa-core processor (International), IR LED, 16/32/64GB (microSD expandable up to 64GB), NFC, 2GB of RAM, 2,600 mAh battery, all wrapped in a svelte 7.9mm—the iPhone 5, by comparison, is 7.5mm thick. The S 4 also supports HSPA+ 42Mbps and LTE (up to 6 different band sets).
Right now, Samsung is pulling the familiar song and dance, omitting the actual release date—Q2 is the global target, including in the U.S. on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon, US Cellular and Cricket. Elsewhere, in Europe, the S 4 will hit Deutsche Telecom, EE, H3G, Orange, Telenor, Telia Sonera, Telefonica and Vodafone. Enough carriers, at least to begin with, to align Samsung as the undisputed champion of the world. No price was announced.

Evasi0n - iOS 6/6.1 Jailbreak. Every Apple device!

It's the moment, we've all been waiting for is the jailbreak for iOS 6 and iOS 6.1 and of course, the device that was none as unjailbreakable is now jailbreakable iPhone 5. we've been waiting for the iOS 6 jailbreak for at least 6 months now and it's finally here thanks to the Evaders.

The evaders is formed of 3 jailbreak stars. MuscleNerd, Pod2g and somebody else but i can't remember their name.

Download This is the link to the downloads section on iDownloadblog, this is where you can download the software to actually jailbreak your device and it's super easy to do as well. Remember when Blackra1n came out. All you needed to do was press the 'make it rain' button and there you go, within 5 minutes it's jailbroken. With evaders though, it will take at least 15 minutes to do it but once it's done it, you don't have to connect your iPhone 5 or whatever iDevice you have to the computer ever again. and the surprising thing is that it's untethered which most of the you will probably know but i'll explain.

Untethered - You can reboot your device whenever you want and you don't need to run an external program in order to boot it up properly.

Tethered - If you want to reboot your device, you've got to connect it to your computer, run redSn0w and click the just boot button or else you'll never get out of the start up screen.

It's here and one little thing, Within ten minutes of it being released to the public, it has received over 150,000 downloads. Seriously No joke! and that's just the people that actually know about it and follow it to the fullest, By this time next week, it's going to be downloaded at least 2 million times.

GTA 5 Delayed/Release date announced

Rockstar has delayed the release date of Grand Theft Auto V out of May of 2013. Instead, the open world blockbuster bound title will release for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17th, 2013.
A PC version, unfortunately, was not announced. My first thought when I head about the delay this morning was that Rockstar was planning to release a PC version alongside the console edition, but that’s not the case. Instead, in the body of the email that announced the new launch date, Rockstar explained the delay with this:
The September release date moves the launch back from its original projected release window of spring 2013 in order to allow additional development time. The biggest, most dynamic and most diverse open world Rockstar Games has yet created, Grand Theft Auto V blends storytelling and gameplay in new ways as players repeatedly jump in and out of the lives of the game’s three lead characters, playing all sides of the game’s interwoven story.
“Additional development time” could account for just about anything. Perhaps the game wasn’t testing well, or perhaps it was a little more bug-riddled than Rockstar likes. Regardless, the four month delay from May to September should be enough to get the job done.
Of course, this now makes Grand Theft Auto V a massive contender in the holiday season for games. Rockstar hasn’t released a game in the fall portion of the calendar since before Red Dead Redemption, and the solitude they’ve found in May has lead to huge sales. Now, gamers will be picking between Grand Theft Auto V and the whole slew of holiday games set to launch near it.
Obviously this is very sad news for the people and me who is looking forward to GTA 5, but we've got to look on the brighter side. were going to get a more robust smoother experience, so all the bugs will be taken out and rockstar can really fine tune the game for a better experience and at least we've got a release date now. September 17th 2013.
If sony do end up announcing the PS4 at E3, i think rockstar will be there front and centre and say we are also bringing GTA 5 to the PS4 with amazing new graphics and lightning/shaders beyond our belief.
thanks for reading and i'll be doing a podcast about it soon.

Apple are going down like RIM

I bet you've probably heard from every tech blogger out there that there's been something going on with apple in the last 2 or 3 weeks. Nope it's not something behind closed doors, it's got something to do with their stock. Apple's stock in the last 18 months has been falling slowly and slowly and now in the last 72 hours, they've falled from the most valuable company in the world from having $700 stock to just under $400 and erox mobil is now the most valuable company in the world right now.

I said this about 6 months ago to a year ago that apple could have the same fate that RIM has. Apple were steadily coasting on first place for about 18 months and now they are just second. This has got to be a real kick in the teeth for apple. My uncle seems to think that apple could be bringing out a new product this year. I'm not talking about a iPad. I mean a new revolutionary new product that could change the way we look at the catagory it comes out in.
See apple have been on a 3 year patter:-
2001 - IPOD
2004 - IPOD NANO
2007 - IPHONE
2010 - IPAD
2013 - ?

i'm going to say that they aren't going to bring out a new product. I know there's loads of rumours going round that they'll actually release a IPHONE MINI or an IPHONE with a 4.8inch display. i don't think that apple will fragment their phone again by bringing out a new display again and making all the developers updating their apps to support the new display. There's also rumours that they'll bring out a Smartwatch, although i do like the idea, i don't see apple bringing one out. I know they've just killed the little Ipod Nano with a touch screen display to maybe make way for the smartwatch but honestly i don't think they will.

P.S the thing i was talking about before that's behind closed doors. In the last 18 months, apple have spent a billion pound on research and product and development. so there could be something else in stock for us but i don't think there is. COmment down below and thanks for reading

T-Mobile G1 The first android powered smartphone

i know it was the first one and it takes many different versions to get something right. The G1 was a major step forward to compete with the iPhone (which has just celebrated being 6 years old, from when it was first released to the world). There's a lot of history between Apple and Google, First of all, there's Eric schimdt who is Google's CEO. Well he was part of the Apple's board of directors and had some of the say that went behind the device and how Google products were going to be presented. There's many different features that have been recently taken out of iOS due to Google's contract with apple has ran out and apple didn't really want the name Google in their product anymore. The youtube application was taken out and Apple maps was reintroduced as a direct competitior to google maps. that's as much detail i'm going into, I might do another blog about it later.

Now for the original reason why i'm here, the T-Mobile G1 was a very ugly phone, compared to the phones that we have today, like the HTC one X or the Samsung galaxy S3. Nokia phones seems to be more prettier than the phones i've seen from the android side or the blackberry side.
There's other devices that are pig-ugly, THere's the kyocera echo and then microsoft Kin.

just a little side note, the T-mobile G1 is actually running jellybean and no it's not an official release, it's based of the cygenomod rom of jellybean. It's certainly not fast and it's certainly not stable but it just shows that even the first android powered smartphone has the latest operating system on it.

Overuse of Android

CES 2013 was what everybody in the tech industry was talking about, Everybody who was there, everybody was following the coverage, Some things better than others were announced. One thing that got more attention than other products at CES was TV's, not just any TV's there was 3D 4K displays costing over $20,000. Samsung announced a 117 inch 4k Display that cost $42,000 which is a bit extensive in this day of age where money is tight. I know it's just a state of technology but the price they have put it at is a bit too much.

Speaking of too much, Samsung have really gone overboard with their use of android, They've brought out refridgators, tumble dryers, Washing machines, dishwashers powered by android. Seriously! I don't get what the point is, Thye've already got cameras running android but with the camera, i don't think it's that bad because you can actually use the camera as your daily driver and instead of phoning people (the normal way) you can just ring them using skype and you can automatically upload the pictures to facebook, twitter and instagram, So you don't really have to connect the camera to a computer and then upload to the social networking sites, You can connect to Wi-fi and upload them. you can also use the camera for games, it might be a little bit unconfortable for holding the device for games because of the lens but there's always an option to play games and browse facebook and access your emails. It's just basically android in camera.

With tumble dryers and fridges, like having android in your kitchen might be a bit over doing it, I can see how it would work on a fridge because you'd be able to access a cooking or ingredients app so you can create all things wonderful but on a tumble dryer or washing machines, just sounds awful to handle.

Thanks for reading and that's my honest opinion. www.youtube.com/techguy276. Check me out

Facebook Phone Maybe? HTC Sense

Here we go with another facebook phone rumor, it's the longest running umorgoing in the tech industry. There's a couple of rumors knocking about that apple might bring out a smaller iPhone called the iPhone mini and it's going to be priced at $99 to $149 but i'll leave that for another blog.

Facebook did end up partnering with HTC on a phone and then created the HTC CHA cha and facebook have claimed it's not a facebook phone but it's obviously assisted by Facebook. THe HTC cha cha has got a physical keyboard and from the picture, you'll be able to see the little facebook button on the bottom. Obviously with it being a HTC phone, it's running HTC sense, The skin that manufactueres put on over android to make it different from the competiton.

if you're viewing an image through galley on android, and if you press the facebook button, you'll be able to upload those pictures straight to facebook and remember this was 2.3.4 and you didn't have a great photo sharing option that you have on Ice cream sandwich and later devices. If you're on your homescreen, you'd click your facebook button and it would pop up just like how iOS handles updating your status for facebook.

Yeh i got a little bit off topic with the HTC Cha cha but that brings me onto the next topic, The facebook Phone. Since Facebook's stage conference is coming up soon, facebook might be annoucing their facebook phone or they could just be bringing the facebook messenger app to the iPad.
Whatever Facebook announce, i will be sure to update you on the news. I'll probably do a podcast about it

Thanks for reading, i've got overwrite on and i don't know how to disable it at the moment, so i'm just going to leave it

iPhone 6 years old today

Well you've probably assumed from the title that i'm talking about the iPhone being 6 years old. Yes 6 years ago today, Steve jobs came out on stage to reveal the next revolutionary step of the tech industry. Not only did it change the iPhone market but it changed the way we look at smartphones today, i'd say 90% of the phones out there have a virtual keyboard instead of the traditional qwerty keyboards. Just look at the keyboards that you find on a blackberry or a Pre 3. Well that's what smartphones used to be like. Steve jobs stated that if phones wanted to add more buttons, the manufactur would have had to create a new phone to compisate for the new design but with the iPhone, if they wanted to change the way you use the phone, all apple would do is change the UI.

You've got all this space with a qwerty keyboard on the blackberry and it was there either you like it or not, it's not going to go away and the UI isn't going to change that but with the iPhone and at the time, a 3.5inch display was massive for it's time and with having a large display, you could have the virtual keyboard any time you wanted to enter in on the text field.

In 2009 that's when i first aquired an iPhone and that's when i was in the 21st century, I went from a sony ericsson k800i to an iPhone. Even though the k800i wasn't old at all. i got the k800i for christmas 2008 and then 6 months later, i got enough money to buy an iphone from my uncle. I've actually still got that same iPhone with me and none of the physical buttons work anymore, i can only activate the phone if i've got a 3.5mm headphone jack and plug it into the port.

Thanks for reading. 6 years ago it was when steve jobs walked out on stage and wowed the crowd by mentioning 3 different features, 'An iPod, A Phone, An internet communitcator' and then with more ephasis 'An iPod, A Phone, An internet communitcator. Are you getting it, these are not 3 seperate devices' and immeditically the crowd cheers ' This is one device and we are calling it iPhone' then the iPhone went from revolutionizing the computer market, the Music industry to changing the Phone industry and now with the iPad, They've created a market which nobody realised what they were missing.

Nintendo Wii U - Nintendo Land

my friend has recently purchased a Wii U. At first i was a bit sceptic about the entire Wii u, Was it a new console or was it just a new controller but then i realised, it's a entirally new console and way of playing games. The idea is, if you're playing on a game in the living room and one of the family members come in and want to watch something on the television, you've got to then Save your game and close the system...If you're kind. Or you could just not give a fuck and keep playing just to piss them off huh huh. With the Wii u, you don't have to give up the television, you can just go anywhere with the controller and keep playing the game and everybody is happy but It's more than that.

Me and my friend Andreas were playing Nintendo land before and i'm really surprised to what i played. ITS AMAZING. 2 Player games are well worked out. The best game on nintendo land for two players is luigi's mansion. The player with the gamepad plays as the ghost and you've got to attack luigi without being detected by luigi's flashlight and his buddys. There's lightning strikes to catch you out and make you visible to the other player. The ghost can reveal itself to make a trap for luigi or to run quickly. the player who gets the Wii controller is playing as luigi and you've got to catch the ghost out. As you're getting closer to the ghost the controller virbrates harder getting more and more intense as you get to the ghost.

We played all the 2 player games that were on nintendo land. but just by the homescreen menu's and the amount of content and social. It's a console worth buying. I'm not sure how far the graphics can be pushed. He's only got Nintendo land. ZombiU is next on the list.

me and the german have started a gameplay commentary channel and we are doing the weird and wonderful games that you find on the internet and in used games shops and car boot sales.

Thanks for reading

Unbuntu OS

You've probably guessed from the title that i'm talking about operating systems. There's android, IOS, Windows. These are the main 3 mobile operating systems that you'll find on smartphones of today. There's more though, There's webos, Symbian, Java os, Firefox OS. That's all i can think off the top of my head but there's one more.

Ubuntu OS, Apart from Webos, it's probably the closest linux Operating system there is. From what i've seen from ubuntu OS, it seems to have a sense of swipes and streaks to get things in the OS. Swipe from the left of the screen, you'll be able to access all your applications which is neat feature but you can get it on IOS using a well known application Cydia. if you're on the lockscreen and you've got a notification a glowing circle will appear on the lockscreen and i kinda like this feature. It's really nice. you'll need to make a full circle shape with your finger on the screen to access the application and go straight to that point. without these little features, it would just look like android for me. There's so many interfaces you can have until they all start looking the same.

I prefer operating system will a little it more interface to them other than the plain IOS. Unlock>select application> do whatever> come back out. you might think that's what android is but you've got widgets so you don't have to go into that application and if you've been mentioned on twitter, you can see it on the homescreen or if you're running 4.2 jellybean, you can have a look at your widgets right from your lockscreen.

Rooting better or is it all in my head?

I've seen many disclaimers with rooting, and i'm not talking about the disclaimer that if anything goes wrong, they aren't liable for your actions. Which makes sense because they've tested everything with devices multi-ple tested every single version to ensure there will be no problems to the device.
i'm talking about this disclaimer 'Just because your phone has a new OS it doesn't magically have an extra core or acquire extra ram'. That gets me onto my next point.

Manufactuers run skins on top of the android operating system and most of the time they are using more of the CPU power to run the skin. Getting rid of the skin will get you more CPU power. With rooting you can get rid of the skins and get the native operating system without all the skins lying on top and with rooting you can have entire control with the operating system. Not much control since it's android and right out of the box you can have launchers, change keyboards, add themes and you can add features from future versions of the android OS like quick settings on 4.2 jellybean.

with rooting, and Launchers, you can change the animation speeds, to extremely slow so you see the animation goodness or you can have no animations at all or you can have the speed in between.

this blog has probably made no sense but my question is. does rooting make your device go faster or is it all in the head? you can disable so many features to make the device run faster but if you didn't disable stuff, would it run faster or would it just run the same?

Blackberry 10 and minecraft

Merry christmas and a happy new year. Yes i know i might be late but it's better late than never really.
Over the last few days nothing has happened in the world technology but we know what we have been seeing a lot of lately. Blackberry 10 Leaks with their phones, The CEO going to basketball matches with a blackberry 10 devices, Maybe just testing it out in other places than the blackberry grounds or maybe it's actually fully working and it has been fully working for ages and he's just trying to advertise it Sly!

I've been playing minecraft on my android powered smartphone and it's become apparant to me that there's a lot of features missing from the mobile version. Like a lot, Redstones, Enderman, An actually storyline for minecraft, Lots of things. I'm not even sure you can make rollercoasters in minecraft on the mobile version. I remember 2 years ago playing minecraft on my PC, creating an underwater rollercoaster, you had everything. OK fair enough, you don't have pistons and sticky pistons but you can create a machine similar to it.

I've got Podcasts coming up of what i've talked about here and more. so keep tuned in for Techguy276. Youtube.com/techguy276
